Public event planned for launch of MVTA’s first 5 electric vehicles

There will be a public unveiling of MVTA’s new e-Jest electric vehicles from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Apple Valley Transit Station, 15450 Cedar Avenue Apple Valley, MN 55124. The public is invited to view and take a ride on the vehicles.
The new e-Jest vehicles will be the first battery-electric vehicles in the MVTA fleet and the first vehicles of their kind in the Midwest.
The e-Jests are scheduled to serve MVTA Connect routes, MVTA’s microtransit service, beginning in December.
