Plan ahead for reduced service Dec. 23 through Jan. 1

Transit service for year-end holiday weeks
Due to lower travel demand December 23 through January 1, MVTA will be offering reduced service schedules.
On weekdays, beginning Monday, December 23, MVTA will operate a Reduced Weekday Schedule that will be in effect on December 23, December 26, December 27, December 30, and December 31. December 24, 25 and Jan. 1 will have reduced schedules.
Reduced Weekday Schedule
(effective Dec. 23, 26, 27, Dec. 30 and Dec. 31)
All local routes will operate on normal schedules. Those routes are: 420, Orange Link, 436, 440, 442, 444, 445, 446, 447, 489, 497,499 and MVTA Connect.
Express routes will operate on the following schedule:
460 – Burnsville – Minneapolis
Northbound trips: 5:25 a.m., 5:50 a.m., 6:10 a.m., 6:29 a.m., 6:44 a.m., 6:55 a.m., 7:06 a.m., 7:15 a.m., 7:26 a.m., 7:39 a.m., 7:50 a.m., 8:08 a.m., 8:56 a.m.

Dec. 25
On Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, only Route 495 will operate on a regular schedule. There will be no Connect service.
Dec. 28 and 29
A normal weekend schedule, including Connect, will be in place for Saturday, December 28, and Sunday, Dec. 29.
Jan. 1
On New Year’s Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, only Route 495 will operate on a regular schedule. There will also be Connect service.
