Ice Festival
Make your visit to the Ice Festival easy and stress-free with MVTA! We’re offering convenient weekend service from the Mall of America Transit Station to the festival every Saturday and Sunday from January 11 to February 16.
- Download the RideMVTA App, use the website trip planner, grab a pocket schedule, or call MVTA at 952-882-7500 to plan your trip.
- Arrive 5 minutes early to the transit station
- Locate the bus that says Buck Hill on the head sign
- Have your fare ready.
- Insert the exact cash or tap the Go-To Card when boarding
- Sit back, and enjoy the ride to Buck Hill!
- Adults (Ages 13-64): $2.00
- Youth (Ages 6-12): $1.00
- Senior (Ages 65+): $1.00
- Children (Ages 5 and Under): Free
- *Persons with Disabilities: Free
- **Veterans: Free
*Persons with Disabilities: Reduced fare applies for persons with a Metro Mobility card, Metro Transit ID card, or Minnesota Driver’s License or State ID with an “L” endorsement. Note that Medicare cards are valid as identification only for non-rush hour trips.
**Veterans: An ID issued by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs showing “Service Connected” or “SC” must be shown to the driver. Effective July 1, 2009
